Risk Control Measures Awareness Training

As part of my role as an HSE Supervisor, I conducted a Risk Control Measures Awareness Training session to strengthen employees’ understanding of hazard management and workplace safety. The training focused on identifying workplace hazards and implementing effective control measures to minimize risks and prevent incidents.
During the session, participants were introduced to the hierarchy of controls, including elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Real workplace examples were used to demonstrate how appropriate control measures can reduce exposure to hazards and create a safer working environment.
The training emphasized the importance of proactive risk assessment, following established safety procedures, and continuously monitoring work activities to ensure that control measures remain effective. Employees were encouraged to actively participate in hazard identification and report unsafe conditions to support continuous improvement in safety performance.
This training enhanced workforce awareness of risk management principles and reinforced the organization’s commitment to preventing accidents, protecting personnel, and maintaining a strong safety culture.
